Welcome to Niederalben

Niederalben, centrally located between the Mosel river in the North, the French border in the South and the West and the river Rhein in the East. The village is a part of the Palatinate (Pfalz), huddled under the rock-formations of the Mitagsfelsen, where the Steinalb valley opens up, before the the creek merges with the river Glan.

How to get there

Geographically the village is in a distance of 80 to 110 kms from Trier, Saarbrücken, Mannheim and Mainz. You can reach the village in less than 2 hours from Frankfurt Airport.

The Autobahn connections from Trier, Saarbruecken and Mannheim are quite convenient. The shortest way from Mainz or Frankfurt Flughafen leads you through Rheinhessen and along the Glan-Valley.

The next train-station for Niederalben is Altenglan or Lauterecken, with connections to/from Kaiserslautern. From there you can get ICE trains to Mannheim, Frankfurt or Saarbrücken. And also board a train to go to Paris.
